Dr. Plummer was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in San Antonio, Texas. His interest in veterinary medicine and veterinary neurology (in particular) was first sparked as a young boy when his puppy developed seizures related to an infection from the canine distemper virus. Dr. Plummer retired at the end of July 2021 after working 29 years at the Veterinary Neurological Center. He still does work from time to time providing support by seeing new cases when more than 2 of our neurology doctors are off on the same day. Dr. Plummer’s professional interests focus on spinal surgery. His education and professional experience:
